The Blaine Volleyball team came out on top in a hard-fought match at Bellingham on Thursday night, winning 3–2. The set scores were 25–23, 19–25, 25–18, 21–25, and 15–8.
Ari Johnson led the way with 18 kills and 4 aces, while Teia Dube added 15 kills, 4 aces, and 20 digs. Hannah Phelps-McDonald anchored the defense with 28 receptions, and Ainslee Ellis contributed 36 assists in the win.
The Borderites are back in action at home tonight against Mount Vernon and will celebrate Senior Night on Wednesday against Oak Harbor.
