Blaine High School senior Logan Villarreal has committed to Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) to continue his football career. Villarreal, known for his versatility on the field, played as a wide receiver, defensive back, and also contributed as a kicker for the Blaine Borderites.

During the 2024 season, Villarreal made notable contributions in various facets of the game. In a crucial victory over Meridian, he caught a 4-yard touchdown pass and successfully executed multiple extra-point kicks, demonstrating his offensive and special teams capabilities. Defensively, he was instrumental in key moments, including breaking up a critical fourth-down pass against Meridian to help secure the win.

Villarreal's commitment to PLU adds to the Lutes' incoming class of talented athletes. His multifaceted skill set and on-field experience are expected to be valuable assets to the PLU football program.
