Blaine High School senior running back Jaiden Paez has officially committed to continue his football and academic journey at Pacific Lutheran University (PLU). Paez's exceptional performance during the 2024 season earned him First Team All-State honors from the Washington State Football Coaches Association.

Standing at 5'10" and weighing 185 pounds, Paez led the Borderites to a 7-3 record, amassing 1,815 rushing yards on 213 carries—averaging 8.5 yards per carry—and scoring 23 touchdowns. His versatility was further showcased with 115 receiving yards on 10 receptions and significant contributions on defense, including 15 tackles, three passes defended, and a touchdown from a fumble recovery.

One of his standout performances came against Cedar Park Christian, where he rushed for 174 yards and four touchdowns on just nine carries, leading Blaine to a commanding 47-12 victory.

Paez's commitment to PLU marks a significant milestone in his athletic career, and the Blaine community celebrates his achievements and looks forward to his continued success at the collegiate level.
