The Blaine Borderites girls soccer team put on an offensive showcase Tuesday night, defeating Orcas Island 7–1.
Ruby Belarmino and Kate Koreski each scored twice to pace the Borderites’ attack. Bea Dickson and Kathryn Lowry added a goal apiece, while Blaine kept steady pressure on Orcas Island throughout the match.
With the win, the Borderites continue to build momentum as they head into league play. Their next test comes tonight at home against Nooksack Valley. Junior varsity kicks off at 5 p.m., followed by varsity at 7 p.m.
