Blaine Volleyball battled back for a 3-2 victory over Sedro-Woolley on Wednesday night. After falling behind 2-1, the Borderites responded with dominant wins in the final two sets, 25-14 and 15-5.
Teia Dube led the way with 19 kills, while Ainslee Ellis set up the offense with 40 assists. Carly Saunders sparked from the service line with 5 aces. Defensively, Ari Johnson anchored the back row with 26 receptions, while Dube and Hannah Phelps-McDonald each tallied 20 digs.
The Borderites return to action Monday at Meridian.
