Aaliyah Bowman drove in four runs on four hits to lead the Borderites past Ferndale 17-3 on Thursday. Bowman singled in the fifth scoring two, singled in the third scoring one, and singled in the fourth scoring one.

The scoring opened up in the second after Brie Smith singled, scoring two runs.

They then added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Shaylie Daniels grounded out, Bowman singled, and Teya Zaddack grounded out, each scoring one run.

The Borderites scored eight runs on six hits in the top of the fifth inning. Millie Berkeley singled, scoring two runs, Daniels singled, scoring one run, Bowman singled, scoring two runs, Zaddack doubled, scoring two runs, and Jaycena Lajuan induced Berkeley to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Emersyn Bakker earned the win for Blaine Lady Borderites. They surrendered three hits and three runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out eight.
