Blaine opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Alejandro Moser-Hernandez struck first singling and scoring one run.

After falling 3-2, Aaron Garza singled which helped the Borderites tie the game 3-3. A single by Evan Yates gave the Borderites the lead, 4-3, in the top of the fourth. RBI's by seniors Kieran Markusen and Mason Akre gave the Borderites the lead 6-4 in the fifth.

Diego Guttierez earned the win for Blaine. He gave up six hits and five runs (four earned) over seven innings, striking out three.

Blaine collected 11 hits in the game. Akre, Deon Bowman, Yates, and Garza each collected two hits for Blaine. They also accumulated 10 walks in the game. Owen Wenger led the team with two stolen bases.

Their next home game is Tuesday against Lakewood.
