Blaine Baseball won big over Sultan 9-2 yesterday.

Blaine got on the board in the top of the 1st after Alejandro Moser-Hernandez singled, Josh Cochran walked, Kieran Markusen was hit by a pitch, and Diego Guttierez walked. Each of those supplied one run.

After another inning scored in the 2nd, Evan Yates extended the lead to 6-0 in the top of the 3rd.

Markusen earned the win for the Borderites. The pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over five innings while also striking out six. Mason Akre came into the game as relief for the final two innings.

Jesse Deming led the Borderites with two RBIs. He went 1-2. Moser-Hernandez led the Borderites with two hits.
