The Blaine High School Varsity Volleyball team secured their first victory of the season with a decisive 3-0 win over Orcas Island. This marks the first win under new head coach KJ Assink.
Kaitlyn Harrington led the offensive charge, dominating with 13 kills. Brie Smith kept the team organized, providing an impressive 31 assists, while both Harrington and Carly Saunders contributed 3 aces each to further cement the team's control of the match.
The team will aim to build on this success as they face Lynden Christian tonight at 7 p.m. at Blaine High School.
