The Blaine Borderites girls basketball team secured a decisive 40-27 victory over The Bear Creek School on Saturday in an away game at Bear Creek. Demonstrating both offensive and defensive prowess, Blaine dominated three of the four quarters to claim the win.
Leading the charge was standout player Kate Koreski, who delivered an impressive all-around performance. Koreski scored a game-high 14 points and contributed across the board with 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Her leadership on the court was instrumental in securing the Borderites’ success.
Brie Smith also had a standout game, achieving a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Smith’s effort on both ends of the floor provided the team with crucial support, ensuring their dominance throughout the game.
