The Blaine Borderites Competitive Cheer team continues to make a name for itself in Washington high school cheerleading. Competing in just its third season, the team placed 5th in the 1A/2A Non-Tumbling Small division at the state championships held on January 24 at Battle Ground High School.
The Borderites narrowly missed out on a 4th-place finish, falling short by just 0.4 points in a highly competitive field. Despite the close margin, their strong performance secured a spot in the state rankings for the third consecutive year, a testament to the team’s consistency and dedication.
With each season, the Blaine cheer program has continued to build on its success, proving that they are a force in state competition. Their back-to-back-to-back state placements highlight the team’s growth and commitment to excellence.
